No direct links to the mod, no direct discussion of controversial content. Please do not violate the reddit ToS or this community may be banned, and never violate the laws of your own country, obviously.Įverything in that post still applies. It is up to users to search for this content at their own risk. However, because it contains some content that goes against FCdev's wishes and (more importantly) the reddit ToS, linking to the mod is not allowed on this subreddit and links will be removed. In that time the mod has grown and many useful features have been put in place, content has expanded, and bugs have been fixed. This content can be disabled at the start of the game so that players never see it, but the scenes are still in the game files. After FCdev left, other devs slowly moved over to gitgud to work on the mod, as it was the only place development seemed to be continuing. Nonetheless, an expanded version of the original game that focused on pregnancy gradually included some of this out of bounds content. He was quite clear, though, that certain content was outside the bounds of the project and as it happens, some of that content is not allowed on reddit either. You can still find his final version here. He has since stopped updating the project, with no clear indication why. Others pitched in to help out, myself included. After some feedback from /d/, he started sharing it on a blog in 2015 with this page. All of that is still valid, so I reproduce the text in full below:įree Cities the game was originally created by FCdev ( u/FC_Author). U/Pitchitafar made a pinned post back in 2019 concerning the state of Free Cities, the mod everyone's heard of, the reason it can't be directly linked to on the subreddit, and where you can find things in general. I'm sure you've seen me around if you've been here long, but I've never actually made a mod post, so I suppose this might be my introduction to a few people. Hey all! I'm u/Kleingrosse, the newest of this subreddit's moderators.
